Why We Love Bell's Seasoning
Nothing sets the Thanksgiving scene like this iconic box. Come on, there's a turkey on it! Open it up and take a whiff: The combo of rosemary, oregano, sage, ginger, marjoram, thyme, and pepper is the essence of the holiday. Bell's has some serious old-school cred. A century and a half ago, it got its start a stone's throw from where the first Pilgrims had settled, not too far from Boston Harbor. Bell's is still the oldest spice blend made in the country with a recipe that has remained unchanged. Even Rach gets nostalgic about it: "It smells like my mom's house," she says. "We always had, like, nine boxes in the pantry because she would think she was out of poultry seasoning and then buy yet another box of Bell's."
