Frozen Desserts: Chill Out
Keep it simple with these ice-cream cakes: Mix 2 cups of your favorite fruit in 2 softened pints of your favorite ice cream, then layer with slices of store-bought cake in a round cake pan or loaf pan, lined with plastic wrap. Freeze for at least two hours and up to three days. We love these combos:
blueberries + vanilla + lemon pound cake cherries + vanilla fudge + chocolate pound cake raspberries + coffee + vanilla angel food cake bananas + dulce de leche + banana loaf cake peaches + butter pecan + sour cream coffee cake
