Spiced Merlot Punch

  • 2 cups Merlot
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 2 oz. brandy
  • orange wedges, for garnish


In pot, bring 1 cup Merlot, the sugar, and cloves to a boil. Remove from heat; add brandy and remaining 1 cup wine. Stir to cool slightly. Working in batches in cocktail shaker, shake with ice; strain into ice-filled glasses. Garnish with oranges.
