-Veggie chips are all the rage. You can buy them at the grocery store, nothing wrong with that. But you can easily make them at home. I'm going to use golden beet and sweet potato. After peeling you vegetables, use the mandolin to slice them between 1/16 and 1/8 inch thick. Spread them out on paper towels and sprinkle them with fine sea salt. Let them sip for about 15 minutes. Then, wrap them dry with more paper towels. Place the chips on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake them in a pre-heated 375 degree oven.
