-Marinated olives are classic party food that most people buy it at the supermarket. I'm gonna show you how to make it quick and tasty version at home. First, make the marinating liquid. Grab a small sauce pan and pour in half a cup extra virgin olive oil. Next, using a vegetable peeler, peel in 2 long strips of lemon zest, just the yellow part not the white. And two long strips of orange zest. This going out the freshness to the olives and a lot of flavor. Have a sprig or fresh rosemary and about a quarter of a teaspoon red pepper flakes. Set it on low heat until it simmers for 5 minutes then turn it off. Pour it into a bowl and then toss in your olives. Just let your olive set for about 20 minutes.
