How to Make a Lentil Centerpiece
Instead of wrestling with flowers that fade, use dried beans to make a centerpiece that lasts like our Lentil Centerpiece. Watch this video to learn how to make it and see our step-by-step how-to.
I know exactly how important it is to have a fast and easy centerpiece. That's why I love this one designed by Jonathan Adler. It can be done in 2 steps and be on your table in under a minute. All you'll need are clear cylinder vases, beans and lentils in different colors and shapes and votive or pillar candles. Start by filling your vases with the beans. You can fill each vase with a different colored bean and make sure to fill them up to different levels or you can create a stripe effect by layering different colors on top of each other. Next, place your candle into the beans making sure it fits snugly. Light the candles and scattered around the table. It's as easy as that. For more videos and fun tips, head to rachaelraymag.com.
