edge to a cake. Another fruit in that idea is to make flowers with sliced almonds and raspberries and blueberries. To do this, you're gonna use the berry as the center of the flower because we'll just alternate. We'll put a blueberry and the raspberry. And then you wanna use sliced almonds as the petals of the flower . Now this works better if you're cake is at room temperature and then you could chill it after you get the flowers put on the cake. You can-- you also do these on the side of the cake too. Since we're doing the berries,

to good use. All you'll need are some medium to large size flowers , a set of wine glasses, and votive candles. Start by trimming the stems off of your flowers cutting as close to the base as possible. I like using everyday-- using dahlias and then mix with oranges, purples and pinks. Next, scatter your flower across your table. Then, then tuck each bloom under a wine glass. Top the wine glass with a votive candle and it's easy as that. It's a centerpiece that doubles as your lighting for the night. When I did this at home, I like using neutral color candles like creams, pale yellows, and light oranges and I leave the bright and poppy colors of the flowers , but you can do yours in a number of ways. Try all white flowers and bright and colorful candles, or match your flowers exactly to the candle. The possibilities are endless. For more videos and fun tips head rachaelraymag.com.

the bird's nest ferns I'm using here or flask leaves, and small flowers like verbena. Start by lining your bowl with the leaves. Begin from the outside in creating a concentric circle. Do this until you made a tight spiral. If you find that your leaves are shifting or you can't keep them in place, try using just a little bit of tape to hold them down. The leaves that follow will cover up your tapes so no one will know that you cheated a little bit. Next, trim your flower stems to about two inches long and tuck them in between the space between your leaves. Scatter them around the bowl. You can make this as a large centerpiece for your table but I like to use it as place cards. Just use a smaller bowl and follow the same steps. Then, tape a toothpick or wood skewer to the back of a name card and place it in the center of the bowl. You can also use this as your first course. Just use salad greens and edible flowers instead. you don't have floral putty-- this stuff, you can get at any flower shop. But if you don't have floral putty, you can use any kind of gummy adhesive that's used to put like hang up posters or any kind of paper on the walls. They sell them at any office supplies store. The big difference is that the floral putty is actually green, so it's meant to go in an arrangement and, you know, be sort of invisible. So, I'm just going to cut a little piece of floral putty off and I'm going to roll it around and make kind of like a little sausage shape like this. And then, I've got flowers here. These are mums. I like to use a really hardy flower because, you know, when you're at the back base of the wine glass, you kind of get a little torn up so you want something that's going to be hardy and stick around. So I'm just going to cut three. And you make like a little mini bouquet like this. You may take your floral putty and you just wrap it around the stem of the glass like that. And the putty actually sticks to both the flower and the glass so it's a great little combination. So, I'm going to swap out my glasses for these new, fun, well-decorated
arrangement and put it in the center of the plate with the flowers or, you know, a little gift to take away or gift for your guests. And I've got three here that are already

or any type of candy, tall candle sticks and maybe a few flowers and leaves. Start by placing a candlestick into the center of your martini glass. If you're worried the candlestick will tip over, lightly melt the bottom with a match for a few seconds before sticking it into the center of your glass. Hold the candle in place as you fill your glass with Hershey Kisses. You can also try using Jelly Beans or M&M's for a more colorful look that fits your party. Last, if you're using Hershey Kisses, stick some flowers and leaves into the glass by tucking the stems between the candies to add a little more color to your display. Let some of the flowers and leaves peak over the top of the glass. Line the martini glasses along your table. Light the candle and you're all
