Souvenir Ideas: Homeward Bound

Skip the tchotchke racks and 25-cent postcard stands. Send a personalized greeting home using mementos from your vacation.

1. Special Delivery

Circle the places you visited on your travel map and write a note about your adventures. Then cut and fold the map into a rectangle and seal with glue or tape.

2. Photo Finish

Hop in a photo booth with your travel companions, then write a message on the back of the strip. Friends and relatives can clip it to the fridge or reuse it as a bookmark.

3. Coin a Phrase

Penny for your thoughts! Glue or tape a row of pressed pennies on the front of a blank card, or seal any standard envelope with a single penny using glue.
