Broccoli Stalk Salad

Makes: 2 servings
- Stems from 3 heads broccoli, peeled and sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2teaspoon sesame oil
- Pinch crushed red pepper
- Mix broccoli with salt in colander. Let sit 10 minutes; rinse. Mix garlic, vinegar and sugar; add oil and red pepper. Add stems; toss.
