Sparkling Cinnamon Punch

Spiced just right, thisbubbly cocktail pairs wellwith savory dishes atdinnertime.

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cups gin
  • 3 cups lemon juice
  • 3 cups Champagne
  • ice cubes
  • Ground cinnamon
  1. In a small saucepan, simmer 2 cups each sugar and water over medium-high heat; let cool. In a punch bowl, combine 4 cups gin, 3 cups lemon juice and the simple syrup. To serve, stir in 3 cups champagne. Serve with ice and ground cinnamon to taste.
