Makes: 2 servings
- 1/2cup honey
- 1/2cup water
- 1/2cup torn fresh basil
- 2 ounces hard apple cider
- 1/2ounce fresh lemon juice
- Champagne
- In a small saucepan, simmer honey, water and torn fresh basil, stirring, until the honey dissolves, about 2 minutes; let cool. In each of 2 flutes, pour in 1 oz. hard apple cider, 1/2 oz. of the basil syrup and 1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice. Top with champagne.
