Caramel-Pecan Sauce
- 1 4 ouncestick butter
- 1/2cup brown sugar
- 1/4cup heavy cream
- 3/4cup chopped pecans
- In small pan, melt butter with brown sugar, stirring. Stir in heavy cream. Bring to boil, then simmer until thickened, 5 minutes. Let cool; stir in chopped pecans. Spoon over apples, ice cream or pound cake.
