  • 1 4 ounce stick  butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  1. In small pan, melt butter with brown sugar, stirring. Stir in heavy cream. Bring to boil, then simmer until thickened, 5 minutes. Let cool; stir in chopped pecans. Spoon over apples, ice cream or pound cake.
