Makes: 1 servings

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 2 slices fresh ginger
  • Ice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1/2 cup club soda
  1. In pan, simmer sugar with 1/2 cup water, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Off heat, steep peppercorns and ginger until cool; strain. Fill glass with ice; add 1 tbsp. syrup and remaining ingredients. Garnish with ginger and lemon slices.
