Makes: 6 servings

Ingredients
  • 4 cups sliced apples into 12 wedges each
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup regular oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 12 crushed shortbread cookies (about 1 cup)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees .
  2. Spread apples in a greased 8-in x 8-in pan.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients with fork, then sprinkle over apples.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees until the topping is golden and the apples are tender and caramelized, about 1 hour.
