Fire signs will crave refills of this spicy drink.
Makes: 6 servings
Cook: 10 mins
- 2 sprigs mint, plus more for garnish
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4cup bourbon
- In a heavy saucepan, slightly crush the mint with a muddler or spoon. Add the sugar and 6 cups water and simmer, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a small pitcher, then pour into 6 lowball glasses or mugs. Add 2 tablespoons bourbon to each glass and garnish with more mint.
Tip
- To prevent glasses from cracking, place a metal spoon in each to absorb the heat.
