- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup finely shredded unsweetened coconut
- 40 smokehouse or roasted salted almonds (about 1/3 cup)
- 20 pitted dates (about 8 ounces)
- Microwave the honey for a few seconds to warm. Place the coconut in a shallow dish. Stuff an almond into both ends of each date. Working with one date at a time, dip the dates in the honey, letting any excess drip off, then roll in coconut to coat.
Tip Swap it
- Use maple syrup in place of the honey.
