Mash Appeal

Pasta is twice as nice with gooey ricotta and peas.

An after-school cooking class at Brooklyn Friends School, in New York City, tested this month's recipe, and the kids couldn't wait to start munching. A few of them even ate frozen peas! The class had raves for Rach's dish. "You don't have to do much work," said Julian, 7, who has been cooking since he was 2. His friend Sophie, 7, added, "Nothing tastes bad with cheese!"
