Ingredients

  • 4 large red bell peppers-charred in the broiler, peeled and seeded
  • 5 scallions, coarsely chopped
  • 1 2/3 cups walnuts, lightly toasted
  • 1/2 cup EVOO
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

In a food processor, puree the first eight ingredients into a coarse paste. Season with salt and pepper.
