Ingredients
  • Ice
  • 3 ounces gold rum
  • 3/4 ounce curacao
  • 1 1/2 ounces lime juice
  • 1 dash almond extract (optional)
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Mint sprig, for garnish
  • Orange wheel, for garnish
Directions
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the rum, curacao, lime juice, almond extract and simple syrup; shake well. Strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with mint and orange.
Tip Simple Syrup
  • Bring 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Let cool. Makes 3/4 cup.
