- 4 cups sliced apples into 12 wedges each
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup regular oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 12 crushed shortbread cookies (about 1 cup)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees .
Spread apples in a greased 8-in x 8-in pan.
Mix remaining ingredients with fork, then sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 375 degrees until the topping is golden and the apples are tender and caramelized, about 1 hour.
