Buttery Bok Choy Gratin
Makes: 4 to 6 servings
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 head bok choy, sliced
- 3 cups chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3/4cup half-and-half
- 1 cup shredded gruyere
- 1/2cup panko
- In dutch oven, melt butter over medium. Add bok stems, onion and garlic; season; cook 15 minutes. Stir in flour. Add bok leaves and half-and-half; cook 3 minutes. Stir in cheese. Spread in greased 9-by-13-inch dish; top with panko. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
