Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup rinsed brown rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water, 1 cup rinsed brown rice and 1/2 teaspoon salt to a boil. Lower the heat to low, cover and cook until the water is absorbed, 40 to 45 minutes. Fluff with a fork. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
