This one is a cinch: A chic belt adds modern glamour to an old light.
1. Choose a flexible belt long enough to wrap around the bottom rim of a lampshade. (If you have two coordinating belts, trim the top rim, too.)
2. Glue in place with hot glue. Tip: If your belt is longer than the circumference of the shade, snip off the excess with strong scissors or just slip it through the buckle and keep wrapping.
