Greek yogurt is becoming more and more popular in supermarkets. Why you ask? Greek yogurt is strained to remove excess liquid and sugar. Compared to regular yogurt, it has a thicker texture; a tangier, less sweet flavor; and more stability for cooking. It also contains up to twice as much protein and about half the sodium and carbs.
