Make Your Own Apple Cider

You had a great day apple-picking, but now you're wondering: What do we do with all that fruit? Here's an idea: Make apple cider (it's easy!), then turn it into other goodies, too!

4. Preserve

Heat the cider over medium-high until a thermometer registers 160 degrees (don't boil it). This will eliminate any bacteria that were on the apple skins. Refrigerate for up to a week.
