Dancing with the Stars' two-time champ goes heavy on protein to stay light on her toes.

BREAKFAST
Before I spend 12 hours on my feet, I need my coffee! Dancing with the Stars rehearsals start at 9 a.m., so right beforehand, I have a small nonfat double-shot latte with a little Sweet'N Low from either Starbucks or The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, whichever I can get to first.

If I'm on the run, I grab a low-fat muffin, full of wheat and raisins. I haven't had much time to cook lately, but when I do have time to sit down, I make an egg-white omelet with turkey and mushrooms, and a side of fruit.

When I get hungry during practice, I snack on Myoplex Lite protein bars or fruit. Of course, when you're sweating a lot, you need to stay hydrated—I go through at least three or four bottles of water during training.

LUNCH
We usually rehearse until 1 p.m. and then take an hour lunch. Whole Foods is just two blocks from the studio. I make a salad there with tuna, cucumbers, tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette. I don't really like mayo, so I stick with dry tuna. And if they don't have that, they have this turkey meatloaf that I love. Mid-afternoon, I snack on more tuna or almonds—once in a while, I'll splurge on a Diet Coke.

DINNER
If I'm on tour, I'm dancing so much that I make sure to have carbs in my body—I love peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

But on taping days for the show, I try not to eat two hours before work, because I don't want to feel full. Since we only do one dance, I stick to the fish dishes like salmon with vegetables, and I try to leave three hours to digest my dinner before bed.

I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but sometimes I do cheat—I don't really even like cheese, but once I start eating brie, I can't stop! And if I'm out at a Mexican restaurant with chips and guacamole, well, I have to have a blindfold on.
