John's Sparkling Negroni

Ice cubes 2 ounces Campari 1 ounce gin 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth 1 ounce Champagne or Prosecco, chilled 1 lemon wedge (optional)



In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the Campari, gin and vermouth; shake until chilled. Pour into a chilled Champagne glass until two-thirds full. Top with the Champagne and stir; garnish with the lemon wedge.
