John's Sparkling Negroni

- Ice cubes
- 2 ounces Campari
- 1 ounce gin
- 1/2ounce sweet vermouth
- 1 ounce Champagne or Prosecco, chilled
- 1 lemon wedge (optional)
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the Campari, gin and vermouth; shake until chilled. Pour into a chilled Champagne glass until two-thirds full. Top with the Champagne and stir; garnish with the lemon wedge.
