Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°. Line a muffin pan with baking liners. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Add the milk, oil, egg and vanilla and stir until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans.

  2. Fill each muffin cup three-quarters full. Bake until the muffins spring back when touched, about 20 minutes. Transfer to a rack to cool. Insert a plastic doll arm into the center of each muffin.
